What Is A Root Canal?
A Root canal is the procedure where bacteria that has formed in the root canal of a tooth is eliminated, preventing reinfection of the tooth with the goal of saving the natural tooth and avoiding extraction. The inflamed or infected pulp inside the root canal is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully disinfected, cleaned, filled and sealed, this infected NERVE or PULP can cause excruciating pain which can wake someone during the night until the PULP or Nerve is eliminated, if left untreated large abscesses can form and inflame the face, jaw, eye, sinuses and even spread to internal organs even towards the head.
